RootsWisdom is a down to earth holistic living practice located in Madison WI. Sarana started RootsWisdom in her home town of Hartford CT in 2003, as a way to connect with and support new mothers. RootsWisdom focuses on empowering and educating mothers, and all mothers to make healthy informed choices for themselves and their babies.

Rootswisdom exists to educate/inspire you into action. We are working to motivate social change through each person's individual healing journey. As a person sees him/herself in a more holistic/positive way, their view of their communities/world changes. We want to inspire people to make changes in their lives, which will translate into lasting changes in our society.

Our mission is social change. We aim to expand the scope of Holistic Healing to include all families, regardless of economic status. RootsWisdom offers personal health consultations for individuals and families on a sliding scale basis.

Our vision at large is to open up into an education/healing center that promotes social change through personal health, activism and creative outlets.
